Michael’s leadership goes beyond his role as the Founder and President of HAZ Technologies, a leading provider of technology solutions and fractional executive sourcing. He has also shared his expertise as the Director of Technology for Pacific American Securities – Midwest, which is now defunct; Crabbe, Brown, and James, now known as Amundsen Davis, LLC; and the Center for Healthy Families.
Additionally, Michael has served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Summit Charter School – Southern District, FCI Academy, and FIS Group, which is currently known as Xponance. He is involved in numerous boards as part of his efforts to give back to the community, where he works on solving complex problems and improving information technology practices.

In his capacity as a fractional Chief Information Security Officer, he has consistently advanced organizational resilience, compliance, and operational efficiency. His leadership at Amazon Web Services included the development of robust cloud security architectures, automation of DevSecOps processes, and the protection of AI/ML environments, particularly those supporting generative AI workloads.
Mr. Wilson holds certifications as an AWS Solutions Architect, Certified Ethical Hacker, and GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner. His expertise spans cloud security, AI/ML risk management, and enterprise security strategy. Known for his analytical rigor and executive-level collaboration, he serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. His approach aligns with UpRys’ mission to empower nonprofits and small businesses through tailored, high-impact cybersecurity initiatives.
Brian Taylor
Senior Project Manager
Brian joined Gainwell Technologies in July 2019 as a Senior Project Manager for the OHMITS PMO Team. In this role, he is responsible for managing projects that deliver services to the Ohio Department of Medicaid Services.
Prior to this, Brian held several positions, including IT Director for the Columbus Area, a mental health provider, and Senior Project Manager for Netsmart Technologies, an EHR provider for mental health agencies. He also worked as the IT Manager for the Behavioral Health Department and Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Brian served in the United States Army and the Ohio Army National Guard for a total of 25 years.
In 2011, Brian earned the HITECH Implementation Manager Specialist Certificate.
